Opatril Concrete Incorporated Inc. was founded in Dilworth, MN in 1967 by Milton Opatril. Opatril Concrete was built on a foundation of reliability, trust, and the very best quality of craftmanship. Milton’s son Steve took the company in 1989 and continued his father’s legacy.
President
Bjarne Rustad joined the Opatril Concrete Team in 2022 as President. Bjarne is a native of Fosston, MN and a graduate of Minnesota State University of Moorhead with a degree in Construction Management. With over 25 years’ experience in the Construction Industry, he has been involved in projects of all sizes. Leading a team of over 60+ employees has given him the opportunity to put that experience to work providing a good experience for customers.
Today, Opatril Concrete provides services to Agrictultural, Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Remodeling sectors of the Construction Industry. We operate throughout the Red River Valley and the Lakes are of Minnesota and our based in Moorhead MN.
Vice President
Mike joined Opatril Concrete in 2001 after earning a Construction Management degree from Northwest Technical College in Moorhead. He started out as an estimator and worked his way into ownership. He has enjoyed being a part of growing the company into what it is today. As Vice President, Mike takes pride in helping his costumers projects run smoothly with professionalism and quality workmanship.
Office Controller
Ashley has been with Opatril Concrete Construction, Inc since April 2014. Her duties include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and keeping the candy dish full. Outside of the office Ashley enjoys quick weekend trips, running, and spending time with her daughters.
Chief Estimator
Zak joined the Opatril team in June 2008. Starting as a job site Forman then moving to the Foundation Superintendent. Zak is now the Chief Estimator, working on bids for Residential, Commercial, Light Industrial, and Agricultural concrete projects. With over 25 years of experience in the concrete industry, Zak uses his experience to keep the jobs and information flowing from estimating to the field of operation.
Assistant Estimator
Riley is new to the team here at Opatril Concrete, starting this year in an Assistant Estimator position. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics education from Minnesota State University Moorhead. With a background of working in concrete throughout high school and college he decided he wanted to start a career in the estimating side of things. He works mostly on bidding residential projects while helping out on the commercial side of things as well.
